Week 2 Production Log

What have you contributed this week?

In this week we carried on with are shooting scripts. We had to think a head and know how we want are music video to look like, in terms on shot type/angle, and locations and how long we want the shot for. This is a very long and hard task which is they we only focused on the shooting script this whole week and nothing else. At the end of this week we have managed to do 75 shots, and still go left a whole chores and an outro.

How does this fit in with the production schedule/job roles/overall ideas of the project?

We have not yet made a production schedule due to the fact that we have been to focused on are shooting scripted. But we are not falling behind on any tasks and are where we want to be. As last week we have still not given roles to each other, but it still looks like I will be doing most of the filming, due to having more experience and also Jasmeet will be in some shots as well, so it makes sense if I do most of the filming. In term of overall ideas of the project, we are looking to start filming at my house on the 9th of Feb but this is not for certain. We also have a very clean overall project idea, and know how we want are music video to end up looking like, so we are focused on achieving that.

Were there any problems?

This week we did not have any major problems, because we are still just doing the shooting script. But one little problem we faced was that we where doing to have less than 100 shots by the end of the music video. This is a problem because a music video should have over 1000 shots in it, and because we where going to have less it could have effected are grade.

How did you/will you overcome them?

We over came the fact that we had few shots, by adding in an outro and the end of are music video. This will allow us to get another 15-20 shots, in are music video, which will make are number of shots get above 100.

What are the plans for the following week?

Next week we are hope to finish of are shooting script and making a proper shooting schedule, which tells us what we are going to film and each day.
