Creating my artist's Identity

The name of my artist is Kemm.
Age: 27.  Born on 19th of November
Gender: Male
Location: Manchester
Ethnicity:  Black African
Brief historyKemm was born and raised to always respect his elders, he grew to love others just the way he admires himself. He graduated from University studying Computing and Electronic Technology he decided that career option wasn't the one for him and wanted to get into something he loved to do, which turned out to be his love for music. In the early years, Kemm went through a lot of adversity at the hands of the environment he grew up in but pulled through with the help of his family and trust in God. He never would have thought he would succeed as he did not like music classes in primary and high school but always loved singing in his own time, this mindset was a boiling pot for uncharted territory for him as he grew older and wiser, this urge to sing and write then turned into passion of becoming an R&B Singer/Songwriter and a creative music producer.

Clothing that my artist would wear.

I have chosen  these items of clothing and accessories for what my artist will wear, in the music video. This is because all the items are not too formal, and these are typical of a young adult. The items of clothing I have chosen connote that the artist looks after himself in terms of his fashion scene, and that he wants to look good all the time. Also my artist is an R&B artist and typically a R&B artist will wear trainers, jeans and a Ralph Lauren Polo. My clothes and accessories are not too bight in color and it is not to powerful. It is more of a calm statement and it connotes that my artist is forced more on his music than what he wear. But also that he wants to look good.

Typography I would use for logo

These are the sort of fonts and typography I would use for my artist logo. (Dont look at what the font say focus of how it is written). I have gone for typography's that are not to crazy and hard to read, because that would connote that my artist and his music is also crazy and has no true meaning to it. The type of fonts i have chosen are quite simple, but have a sort of edge to it. This connotes that my artist is very simple but also have a edge to them. Also the fonts clearly shows what they say, so by using a font like this is connotes that my artist music is very easy to understand , and that their music has a clear meaning to it.

Mise-en-scene i would use in the music video

I have chosen these types of mise-en-scene because it is what you typically see in a R&B music video. This is because these setting will connote that the artist and song is more natural and has a true natural meaning behind it. Unlike a rap music video where it will probably be set in a club, and does not really have a true meaning behind it.

Colours

The colours I have chosen for my artist identity are all simple colours, which connote that my artist is also simple when coming to fame and it shows that he focus more on his music. Also because of the gold and silver it connotes that my artist is rich, which will make his music video look very well made. If my artist has bight and crazy colours in this music videos or even wears these colours such as pink and green it might make the audience not take him seriously.

Imagery which there song evokes

When listen to this song lots of little images come into my mind. The images that some into my mind is a relationship between a boy and a girl, which is why i put images of love. Also as the song goes on we find out that the girl left the boy. Which is why the song is called "Leave me hanging" and is why i have images of sadness and arguments. Also when the song talks about the two people in a relationship, i think of summer, because summer is a nice time of year. Then when they brake up i think of a really cold winter, which is normally not nice to be in.
